PT KBI as a Pioneer in Warehouse Receipt Registration Centers

Jakarta, October 20, 2025 – PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (“PT KBI”), part of the state-owned holding company Danareksa, affirmed its commitment as the sole Warehouse Receipt Registration Center (“PusReg”) in Indonesia in strengthening the national commodity trading infrastructure through its presence at the 2025 Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) event, held from October 15–19, 2025. At this event, PT KBI showcased the synergy of the integrated Indonesian Warehouse Receipt ecosystem with its subsidiary, PT Kliring Perdagangan Berjangka Indonesia (“PT KPBI”), a subsidiary of PT KBI, and warehouse manager PT Salimbado Jaya Indonesia (“SJI”), supported by Bappebti and the Indonesian Warehouse Receipt System Management Association.

As an institution officially approved by Bappebti as a Warehouse Receipt Registration Center (PusReg), PT KBI plays a strategic role in ensuring the transparency, credibility, and security of national warehouse receipt data. The registration system developed by KBI, IsWare Next Gen, ensures that every commodity has passed quality testing by the Conformity Assessment Institute (LPK), and is stored in official warehouses approved by BAPPEBTI. "Through its role as PusReg, PT KBI is at the heart of the national warehouse receipt ecosystem. We ensure that every commodity entered into the system is guaranteed quality through a quality testing certificate and provides legal guarantees for the Warehouse Receipt, so it can be used for financing and onward trade," said PT KBI President Director, Budi Susanto.

As a subsidiary of PT KBI, PT KPBI acts as an aggregator for business actors. Through its Center of Commodity Service ("CENTRISE") product, PT KPBI is committed to providing integrated services to support the development of the warehouse receipt ecosystem in Indonesia.

At the TEI 2025 exhibition, PT Salimbado Jaya Indonesia (SJI), one of the warehouse managers approved by BAPPEBTI, also showcased the tangible benefits of implementing this ecosystem. Through storage facilities that meet quality testing standards and are integrated with the IsWare Next Gen system, SJI is able to manage commodities transparently and efficiently. "Our involvement in managing the SRG warehouse represents a real commitment to improving efficiency, accountability, and ensuring the quality of the agricultural products we export," said Sepdi Tito EP, President Director of PT Salimbado Jaya Indonesia. "With a standardized warehousing system through the SRG, we can professionally manage commodity stocks, minimize the risk of damage, and ensure that every shipment meets the specifications required by our international partners."

PT KBI and PT KPBI continue to encourage the development and integration of the warehouse receipt commodity ecosystem by improving and accelerating the implementation of the SRG in Indonesia. This initiative is expected to strengthen food security and expand access to commodity-based financing.
